Serial Banalism
Serial Banalism is a contemporary artistic approach that explores the aesthetic potential of repetition. Ordinary everyday objects—often overlooked and valued only for their function—are presented in series: urinals, fire extinguishers, watering cans, benches, or waste bins.
By isolating and repeating these familiar forms, new perspectives emerge. The mundane gains visual presence, revealing unexpected qualities of beauty, rhythm, irony, and poetry. Through repetition, the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
